UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), together with the Guangxi provincial government, are giving British companies an exclusive opportunity to find out about business opportunities in Guangxi's Beibu Gulf Development Zone. Situated on the south-west coast of China and consisting of 4 cities (Nanning, Beihai, Qinzhou, Fangchenggang), the Beibu Gulf is destined to become the 4th largest economic cluster in China.

You will meet with the key government officials responsible for the Beibu Gulf, and receive up-to-date information on exciting business projects in the new 10-year Beibu Gulf Development Plan - including multi-billion dollar investments in urban development projects, upgrading of transport infrastructure, and the establishment of a China-ASEAN free trade zone.

Specific projects include but not limited to:
- US$11bn investment in urban development projects
- US$6bn investment in port development
- US$100m World Bank funded urban environment project in Nanning
- Nanning and Beihai airport expansion

Preferential policies and tax incentives also apply for foreign investors in the Beibu Gulf. New industrial bases are being  established for logistics, petrochemicals, ICT, processing and manufacturing.

This is a unique opportunity for UK companies with an interest in developing their business in Guangxi and the Beibu Gulf, especially those from the infrastructure/construction, financial services, petrochemicals, advanced engineering, metallurgy, and ICT sectors.
